Do you want to take a course through Extended Education or through Open University?

Extended Education courses are largely geared towards professional development and certification as well as personal growth. Extended Ed is open to everyone on a fee per course basis; fees may vary. Registration dates are posted per term. These courses are available for Fall and Spring semesters and Winter and Summer terms.

Open University is for the community member who wants to take regular CSUMB degree-track courses offered during the scheduled semesters of Fall, Spring or Summer Session. Open University enrollment does not require a formal University application. Students can only enroll on the first day of class, on a space-available basis with the instructor's approval.
