Spectators
Guests enter the stadium and take a seat by 9:15am in the unassigned seating. Spectators should be prepared with sunscreen and for chilly breezes in the stands.
Attention Graduates
The graduates gather on the South side of the parking lot. Generally, just follow all the other people in gowns. There are guides that will point you in the right direction.
Once in the staging area, look for a sign that says Business. There is a separate banner for the MBA program. Business and MBA will likely be close.
Entering the stadium:
Organizers will assist each group. Dr. Murray Millson will be leading, as he does every year. The procession goes around a long way and enters the stadium on the track. The total procession is just under a mile. This goes by very quickly with all the pomp and circumstance.
After the ceremony:
Graduates file out and are met on the center field by families and friends. At that time, the event is concluded.
Special Attention:
Wear sunscreen and have sunglasses handy.
Weather varies; usually warm enough for graduates on the field and in gowns.
The entire event takes a couple of hours, so a bottle of water is often needed.
